I think it’s more about his sick mentality in general, and not about if he can eventually bribe a woman to be his living incubator.

Meanings drift. The original word was coined in women’s groups, literally for women who didn’t find willing partners. Today it refers to the particular position of certain toxic male groups instead of the involuntary celibacy itself.

Insisting in keeping the original meaning could be a case of etimological fallacy.
