I would really rather that these were actual examples, and not conspiracy theories. We all have our own unsubstantiated ideas about what shadowy no-gooders are doing, but I’d rather hear about things that are actually happening.

“Piracy is a service problem.”

“Unused RAM is wasted RAM.”

“Communism doesn’t work.”

Pretty much any pasty-faced white boy talking point is a load of malarkey.

Piracy IS most definitely a service problem. I bought the Scott Pilgrim game on Steam and had terrible performance and frequent crashes from Denuvo. I pirated the game and it runs completely fine now. You are often paying for a worse experience when you don’t pirate.

Piracy is a service problem if you have more money than sense or want the disparity in wealth to grow.

It’s a monetary one otherwise, hence why piracy is the norm outside of 1st world countries.

All true tho… But with some NUANCE:

  1. Netflix and such made a REAL impact in visitors to torrent sites. But half the world doesn’t have 9.99$ to spend each month

  2. If you really don’t use more as your browser, why pay premium for 20gb of ddr5?

  3. Comunism is a fantastic idea. However it’s leaders are ALWAYS corrupt. Always.

  1. I used to agree with you, but then I came across Thomas Sankara of Burkina Faso.

It’s the only example I know of where communists make an honest attempt to reduce the disparity in wealth rather than exacerbate it.

Yes, some make honest attempts.

But unfortunately people arnt motivated by a motivator.

They want money and future prosperity for them and theirs.

(CONTROLLED) capitalism is the only option.

I’m all for communism, but I think current iterations are operating more like dictatorships than true communism.
