Why do you care about up votes and down votes? There is no karma tracking here
What? You don’t manually tally up your total karma using a calculator like a power lemming?
I don’t care about Karma, but to see a 0 after spending an hour on something means that it will not get seen (when I thought people would enjoy it). So in a way it invalidates my effort, and causes me to reevaluate what people would like to see (and, it seems my content may not be it).
@MrMusAddict I get that. Aside from replies, boosts and upvotes are the only other way to tell someone walked by and thought “hey I like or dislike that”.
Or the downvote isn’t a statement about your post itself. Let’s take some post about Vladidick Pussyn and his little special desaster operation for example. Ppl who downvote might just express that they do not like your post, but they dislike the special desaster operation.
