I keep seeing the same names popping up. I think it’s rather cute!
There’s two reasons for that:
Lemmy is still small (compared to centralized social media).
We all chose to be here instead of mainstream social media for a reason, so we’ve all got something in common.
A community to talk about the Fediverse and all it’s related services using ActivityPub (Mastodon, Lemmy, KBin, etc).
