What does everyone think of Castroism? (Fidel Castro)
Haven’t heard of anything by that name. From a cursory search, I only found “focoism”, which doesn’t seem to have been created by Fidel. AFAICT, Fidel didn’t write all that much, so “Castroism” would just be Marxism-Leninism applied to Cuba’s material conditions, rather than a different framework
Right, it uses the term as synonymous with “focoism”, which was created (or at least formalized) by Régis Debray, not Fidel or Che (albeit inspired by the latter). I don’t know enough about it to make any meaningful comment 😑
