Often Marketing is just Marketing. Those people who are triggered by the word “inclusiveness” will consider it either Pandering or Acknowledgement of people’s feelings. Those of us who are rational will recognise it for what it is; Spin to justify a decision based on maximising profit.

No one is “triggered” 🙄. It’s just a term that’s used by the DEI/ESG squad that basically gives them a free defense squad when they use it to do a stupid thing.

Those of us who are rational will recognise it for what it is; Spin to justify a decision based on maximising profit.

You’re not disagreeing with me. The problem is that what the DEI/ESG squad think will maximise profit - pandering to the minorities - usually backfires massively. Those of us who are rational know that pandering to the minority isn’t smart because you put off the majority.
