Example: if I search “Overwatch” and sort by Communities, I’ll get 0 results.
I know Overwatch communities exist and have no idea why Im getting 0 results. I confirmed that lemmy.film is not defederated with the instance that hosts the various communities.

If no one on your instance manually opened the community it won’t be shown in search.
And yes, I think that needs to be fixed ASAP.

By opened do you just mean browsed it at all by manually typing in the URL?

I searched !overwatch@lemmy.world and no results still, am I doing something wrong?
