My favorite recent Jon Stewart moment was when he ran up to some conservative protesters screaming about “YOU PEOPLE BELIEVE THIS AND THAT” and they were like, wow dude, chill out. We don’t believe that. We agree with you on this issue. He had that frozen NPC look on his face for a few seconds then actually admitted he was wrong to do that and was just so worked up from all the propaganda out there. It was a great moment of hope that some leftists can break their conditioning and engage in actual conversation to find out that they’re being spoon fed lies and propaganda and the people they’re trying to censor and vilify actually agree with them on quite a lot of issues.
