Isn’t that bonded leather? Faux leather is cloth, zero leather or bonding to another surface to be peeled.

Faux-leather isn’t great, depending on how it’s made - but bonded leather is literally garbage glued to fabric.

If it was bonded there would be some there but it would be flaky. It’s a slow process that happens pretty much all over.

Faux rips/tears easily then a section peels off. It goes from fine to gone.

Maybe it’s bonded and the picture is after the owner tried to “clean it up”. But I think this is just the cheap fake leather based on wear.

This picture looks like text book bonded leather wear.

How can cloth peel? It’s one solid woven material if it’s faux. It tears and rips easy since it’s cloth and zero leather.

Fake leather is bonded leather not faux leather….

How can cloth peel?

Oh ok.

You think faux leather is made of cloth.

It’s not, its polyurethane.

That explains why you were so confused. Glad I could help

You can see it peeling and flaking in the OP.
