How do I block all meme communities on lemmy?

I dont like memes, they waste brain space and time. How can I prevent the home feed from being flooded by them? I block one, and 5 more show up.

Yes there is. If your instance is running a 0.19.x version, then you’ll have instance blocks as an option in your profile settings page
