You see a lot of these memes about the state of the world are copy pasted from other subs (whole memes and rules) so it gets a little confusing I think its making my prozac wear off(fedia.io)

Civil forfeiture has very shitty documentation requirements, if there are any at all. There’s a reason the cops in poor areas seize cash most often.

I’ve literally had the police steal (not civil forfeiture) from me, you’re not telling me anything I don’t know. But the answer to “why isn’t this legal thing on this chart of illegal things?” is that it’s legal.
