This shtick only works so long as enough libs are comfortable in life to tune out if day-to-day politics. Unfortunately for Dems their yuppie, middle income base is starting to feel the effects of imperialism at home. These types of crackdowns and bans aren’t supposed to happen here. And people outside of that income/class bubble are dealing with so much BS right now that I can see this election having abysmal turnout.
We should be recruiting actively for whatever orgs we’re in. People need to know alternatives exist before the fascists get to them.

I’m not optimistic, because the left always gets attacked by the liberal/conservative institutions and the fascists (who are just an outgrowth of liberal/conservative ideologies to begin with) have a big advantage.
