So, if I get this correct ā€“ joining the EU would be a step backwards for Norway, but joining Norway could be a step forward for the EU?

Sounds genuine. Iā€™m sold.

We might be taking that step back anyways, but I am not quite sure we are in position to change the EU in significant ways.
