This instance doesn’t actually exist yet. I was wondering if I should make my own public instance with the domain lemmy.tips.
Currently this is hosted on lemmy.xylight.dev which is a horrible name.
Or should I instead buy the phtn.app domain for Photon instead of hosting a new instance? Money is tight, I can only pick one.

I use Porkbun as my registrar and it has phtn.app for $12.85 / year. That said, namecheap also has it for $14.98 / year (but 16.98 / year for renewal).
Alright, I’ve purchased it from porkbun. I want to use phtn.app to death like I did with xylight.dev. Perhaps I can change my “brand name” (which currently is Xylo) to Photon?
