That โ€˜yโ€™ has pissed me off since i was a child. I was always baffled as to why it was spelt Disnep but pronounced Disney, especially while learning digraphs at school and it didnt fit in with any of the sounds the letter combinations were supposed to make.

Funny, i know the answer because i just recently ran into that meme. Simple meme about how Walt Disneyโ€™s trademark signature looks like โ€œGisnepโ€, . I get the โ€œpโ€ part, and i guess the โ€œDโ€ does looks like a backwards โ€œGโ€.
