I know this might sound strange but autistic people are roughly 3x more likely to be LGBT so you could consider going to an LGBT meetup. I’m neurodivergent and LGBT and that certainly matches my experience.

My sister is a trans lesbian and she has had gay liberals call for her to be hate crimed at Trump rallies.

Conservative Christians are more accepting of her then liberals.

I was repeatedly harassed in my old friend group of people who were made up of LGBT people because I was straight and cis. Eventually they convinced me to “consider” being non binary and then started simply telling me I was while insulting and bad talking cis males. If I ever objected they asked why I was defending something I wasn’t. Eventually they shunned me out of their friend group for not conforming enough.

My sister is trans and gay and this statistic makes me uncomfortable. It can easily be abused by religious people.
