Updated advice. It’s a long shot, but it’s worth trying to force the Tories into third place. Share with your local friends.

Just be aware these sites often have a significant Labour bias, don’t take what they say as fact.

That would only be because they are the only other large party. So for the majority of people/constituencies they are the best alternative if you want to vote to get the Tories out.

All they are doing is comparing the voting at the last general election, polling and then using that two give an option for the best way to vote them out.

Not sure what pro labour facts you think are on there

Please provide examples. Where labour is recommended but another party is more likely to beat the tories?

What do you want about I know constituencies where they recommend the liberal democrats.

The reason it appears to have a Labour bias is that reality has a Labour bias right now. It isn’t an unfair bias if it’s just reflecting reality, you not like it is immaterial.

https://www.reddit.com/r/LibDem/comments/1di5w9a/tactical_voting_sites_may_cost_us_seats/

I can’t see any mention of stopthetories.vote in that discussion though so perhaps it’s better than the others, at the very least it appears to give the poll data so there’s some transparency there

So your evidence for this is a conspiracy theory on a lib dem subreddit? Do you have any actual evidence that this is a thing that happens because I know for a fact that the website is grassroots is not run by Labour. It’s all about holding the Tories to account not getting Labour in.

Edit: OP could not be bothered to provide an answer within 8 hours so I’m going to go ahead and say full of crap.

UK Politics

Create post

General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don’t post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think “reputable news source” needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

!ukpolitics@lemm.ee appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(
