Thanks to the lovely Heatherhorns (https://trello.com/b/8dvKmvtc/commissions) we have a new icon! We’ll be updating the instance icon soon!
So, with the new fediverse canvas project just around the corner, it’s time for our new shonk to represent!
The issue is, the old logo was a copyright free image I found online when we were first getting this instance set up, and it was basically just me here. Since then, I haven’t been able to find the original artist, or work out exactly what I was allowed to do with the image. We had this one commissioned though :)
i can’t find the exact one right now but i think the old logo is in the same style as boggartowl, the artist of this telegram sticker set. i remember finding it before when i still had tg and i was like “oh hey i know that shark from that lemmy instance i use”.
so yeah, probably best y’all got new art…
