I agree with (possibly) none of McConnell’s policies and I’ll never forgive him for the un-American things he did as senate majority leader. I certainly don’t care for him but that it is quite sad to see him like this. I hope he can make a graceful exit from politics and live the rest of his years in peace.
I agree it is sad but also when he was well, if he’d seen someone else in the condition he’s in now and had the choice to either cure them or make $1 for himself that he didn’t even need, I’m 100% convinced he’d have walked away a dollar richer.
Get rid of all politicians over the age of 55 or 60. Allow them to be maybe advisors but at this point these people have been unhelpful to the larger younger population.
If voting starts at birth + 18 years then participation in political life should end at average life expectancy -18 years.
Quick reminder about the rules around wishing death and destruction on people.
That being said, yes, McConnell is one of the key architects of how dysfunctional our system of government has become. From using the filibuster more times during the Obama administration than all prior administrations COMBINED, to blocking a legitimately named Supreme Court Justice, not by allowing him a fair vote, but by denying him a hearing AT ALL.
BUT…
Now hear me out… BUT…
He does have three daughters, Porter, is actually an activist:

You can make fun of the guy, you can hate the guy, but before you wish death on the guy, take just a moment to consider his family and how they must feel watching him break down like this live on camera, not once, but twice.
Just let the man retire and enjoy the rest of the time he has left with his family. Geeze.
Someone please put him out of his misery. Stupid fuck just want to suffer each day and die.
Euthanasia is not legal in either Kentucky or D.C. so I’m afraid we’re stuck with the ancient shithead.
