Project 2025 will rob people of their lives.

The thing to remember about Project 2025 is that it has a 180 day execution window. This stuff will happen so fast it’ll make your head spin.

Honestly, that 180 day window thing is nominal. The execution of all of that will take way longer with all of the litigation that would happen, and it’ll take a couple of years to get it all enacted (slow at first then accelerating as more gets enacted).

Personally, I’d prefer if it were fast. The sudden change would wake people up, and cause way more civil unrest. If it’s slow, we end up as frogs slowly boiling. Fewer people will protest or cause issues if things unfold slowly. It’s the idea of the frog in the boiling water. If the changes are swift, there’s a higher chance of ordinary people taking notice and fighting to reverse them.

It’s the idea of the frog in the boiling water.

The water is already 208 degrees man. This country is the montage in the opening scenes of a dystopian film as it is.

Crumbling infrastructure. Natural disasters. Civil unrest. Disease. Tense international relations. Food costs escalating, and only to get worse due to changing climate.

Except in the experiment that coined the phrase, the frogs jumped out. We ain’t jumping. We’re acting more like crabs in a bucket.

Hah, there’s no way they get all that done in 180 days. I believe they would want to do it, but someone’s been hitting Hitler’s party drugs if they think Washington can move that fast.

First USA privatizes the army. Then China offers to pay triple if the private army turns against the USA and Xi calmly claims the White House.

Xi could cut out the middleman and just buy Congress. They are already privatised.

Project 2025 is not Trump policy or a Republican playbook. It is policy proposals from Heritage Foundation, a Conservative think tank.

Now tell us how many Heritage Foundations recommendations do the Republicans and Trump take on board! Distancing the Heritage Foundations from them rather undersells the position of one of the most influential public policy organizations particularly within conservative politics.

The previous trump admin got its entire judicial appointment list from the heritage foundation, including supreme court nominees.

The plan also has has 100s of offical endorsements from GOP orgs and previous Trump appointees, including many who will likely have official roles in a new admin.

They are 100% interlinked, no matter what weak distancing the campaign tries to do because the fascist project is polling badly.

Yeah, given how much Trump and Republicans lean on Heritage, and Trump has been talking about doing some “light” tyranny on day 1, it’s ridiculous to attempt to write off the Heritage Foundations’ plan to Christian Fascism.

Has Trump agreed to follow this project? I just keep seeing you guys talk about a plan a group made and then are pretending that everyone agrees.

Yes/no.

On the “let’s all remain calm” side we should remember that white papers like these are created and circulated before every presidential election. They are not party policy, merely suggestions.

But then we can remember that the Iraq War was a 1998 Heritage Foundation white paper proposal for the 2000 election.

He says he’s got nothing to do with it. Yet-he’s got senior advisors and past appointees that helped write it and support it. He says he needs the heritage foundation -the organization that made it, to accomplish his goals. His super PAC runs ads for it. He stands in front of a podium and calls for things that are pretty identical to what’s in it.

Stop watching the mouth and look at the goddamn hands.

He will say anything to lever himself more power because the only way he out runs the shadow of his crimes is by becoming president again.

So then if he has said he has nothing to do it then its a bullshit critique.

I’m not going to vote blue this November.

Now, how credible do you believe that statement to be?

Don’t look the pile of evidence in my user history-that’d be makin a bullshit critique.

Good point! Will the man who literally Sold Out the United States of America to our Enemies go along with this plan that promises to Enrich him with Wealth and Power? I don’t know!

By putting people into power that will serve him. He flew by the seat of his pants last time and did plenty of long-lasting damage. This time he’ll be prepared with a cabinet of the most competent and horrific fascists our country has to offer.

Have you read the entire document once? I feel like that’s the minimum to be able to comment on it.

It’s not long and it uses short words so that their base can understand.
