I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as X, is in fact, X11/X.Org, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, X11 plus X.Org. X11 is not an display server unto itself, but rather a free protocol of a fully functioning X.Org system …

I took it to mean, people who says “I use *, BTW” so like, “I use Arch BTW” “I use Reddit BTW” “I program in HTML, BTW”. Maybe I’m thinking of this wrong, BTW.
