Key quotes:

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, one of the most influential voices in President Biden’s sphere outside of his family, sent a rare public signal Wednesday morning that suggested she is trying to nudge him to consider dropping out of the election.

“It’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run,” she said on MSNBC. “We’re all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short.”

Pelosi sandwiched her comments between praise for Biden and his record. But Pelosi is notably careful and calculating in her public comments and well aware that Biden has repeatedly and forcefully said he has already made that decision. She spoke on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Biden’s favorite cable news show and the same venue where on Monday he gave one of his most defiant declarations that he would remain in the race.

Biden has already decided.

He can undecide. That’s how decisions about future events work. It’s not like there was even a point in time where the public message from Biden wasn’t “I’ve decided, I’m staying in”.

will he remember though?

ooof.

but seriously, he was not my first (or even third) choice. I tolerated joe “nothing will fundamentally change” biden for 1 term, and expected him to step aside and (my words) “show the world what a vibrant 2024 d(D)emocratic process looks like for a nominee that makes the choice between between Republicans and Democrats as clear and night and day - after all, the stakes for america and the world could not be greater, right?!”

I did not expect cognitive freefall (for both biden and the democratic party) with a side of kill more brown people. guess many more of us should have taken the “nothing will fundamentally change” bit to heart and expected the soulless machine to eat us all. seriously, fuck this bullshit.

Its an interesting rhetorical approach on her part, to put his “decision” back on the table is effectively to reject Biden’s assertion that he’s still in this.

And good riddance to this geriatric, insider trading, genocidal apologist as well.

Best I could find.

They found a way to calm down the Hulk. Black Widow tells him something and make some gesture and the Hulk calms down and leaves anger behind.
