Waiting for all the Maga folks to fall over each other in their rush to wish Biden well…

They can wish that I guess, but a state funeral “trumps” a failed assassination like 9 times out of 10. Kicking it in office of natural causes is some FDR shit.

Isn’t that the truth. These people have such a double standard. Especially when it comes to their Dear Leader that almost no one else respects at all, but they think everyone should be forced to worship.

I swear that if donnie published on his stupid troof sohshul that Dear Leader does not actually poop and that he gets at least one hole in one per game of golf, that his supporters would all defend this new “truth”.

Yup. I saw a magabrain shortly after the shooting, and he was deathly serious like he just heard about the death of a relative: “did you hear about the shooting?”

Meanwhile, this same guy thought the hammering of Pelosi’s husband was HILARIOUS.

At this point you’re probably better off waiting for the newly approved ones to be rolled out in August or September. Your doctor or pharmacist could tell you for sure.

Just read a local article on getting it now and then again in the fall. Coworker had covid last week and said it was the worst she’s felt in years. I’m signed up to get my 2023/24 vaccine tonight. https://captimes.com/news/health/covid-on-the-rise-in-dane-county-what-you-should-know/article_7f20f8e0-3fa6-11ef-bc9d-db5cc29b1bcd.html

New variant came on quick for me. One day I wasn’t even sure if I was sick, next day couldn’t record a temperature lower than 102 so I tested.

Man fuck the vaccines. I got the full recommended dose and still got COVID like 5-6 times already. At this point it’s just like a harsh flu.

Covid mutates really fast, just like the flu. We will never get rid of it, but adapt to its existence like the flu.

Yeah, that timeline is a little sus…

But even if this is some kind of excuse, it would help his replacement more if he said he was stepping aside for a candidate with the best shot of beating trump.

But that includes putting country over ego.

Biden, as an official act, declares it illegal for felons to be president. Biden then drops out of the next election.

Turning America off and back on again.

You know the SC would decide that Trump’s convictions aren’t final since they’re under appeal

Edit: convictions

This is why I consider trump still effectively ruling like a king, as someone above the law, controlling one of the three major branches of the government.

That may actually be the case, at this point I’m thinking about it in terms of Harris Vs. Vance

A black woman vs. a guy who openly admits to being a racist who hates Mexicans in his own fucking campaign ad - https://vxtwitter.com/JDVance1/status/1511311385543815180

I think my favorite part is this sob story about how his mother nearly died on the “poison Mexicans are bringing into this country!”

If you do a fact check, his mother was a nurse who raided the controlled substances locker to get high.

I think the fact that he’s the incumbent is a bigger advantage than anyone aside from him can muster, but if he steps down as soon as the election is over that’d be good.

A bait and switch like that would clobber any trust the Democratic party has built up and cost them for at least a decade

permalink

I think that’s a fair expectation, but I don’t think they had much trust to begin with.

A lot less of an advantage when polling this badly in approval.

There’s never been a president with this approval that won reelection.

I haven’t been paying attention to the approval rating because I don’t think it’s relevant. People didn’t like Biden last time either, and I’ve spoken to registered Republicans who said they’d vote for Biden even if he was a corpse. Lots of people really don’t like Trump. Iirc, a president has only been re-elected after losing a single time in history as well, but I don’t recall the circumstances.
