Still, while Trump has not exactly turned on Israel, he has clearly soured somewhat on Netanyahu, who he is still angry at for congratulating Biden on his election victory in 2020.

Netanyahu cares about his own political survival and nothing else. He told the families of hostages that he’s waiting for poll numbers to negotiate the hostages’ release, then never even made a good faith effort to negotiate, regardless of the poll numbers.
Netanyahu is committing genocide to game domestic politics and stay in power.
Oh Hitler did that first. The entire reason he was doing lebensraum and “reclaiming” German territories was to steal money to keep the government functioning and build the German military. It’s kind of wild. He probably could have told the world to stick their war reparations where the sun don’t shine and managed some sort of functional government.
