It just started and we’re still in off season so might as well. I think Germany has the perfect group to embarrass themselves too should they not make it out of groups stage.
US here, just so happened to wake up at 2:30am, just in time to catch the first match. Might as well lol.
Philippines is in the World Cup for the first time
I’m definitely watching. The first match just finished. So happy for New Zealand. It’s always fun when the hosts have success in their tournament.
I’m definitely watching the World Cup – I just got back from the pub where I was watching New Zealand beat Norway. I’ve been trying to get !worldcup@lemmy.world going for the World Cup so that people who want to talk about it have a space that’s dedicated to the tournament, so if you wanna come hang out over there as well, it might be fun!
With the time difference there will only be a handful of games that I’ll be awake for.
