Good news! Just got a phone call from work, the client found the missing $$$ (and from the sound of it it was $$$) so thatโ€™s a relief to say the least. Change in the attitude of the carer lead wasโ€ฆ a thing. But a cordial conversation was had and sheโ€™s taken me off that client, so all well there.
Iโ€™d put in an application to join a union this morning and Iโ€™ll keep on with it, as knowing aged care odds are that Something Will Happen.
But now I can do dinner tonight and really enjoy it, not just try and use it as a distraction!

Fantastic news.

How does $$$ go missing anyway and Iโ€™m guessing they tried to blame you for it going missing?

I hope they issue an apology to you as it sounded like you werenโ€™t going through a nice time if youโ€™re also considering joining a union for protection.

I think you should treat yourself to something delicious tonight.

I had an accident trimming my beard last night, the length attachment fell off while using and took a huge chunk of it out. Didnโ€™t have any other option but to trim it all off. I kept the mo and some of the โ€œsoul patchโ€ (had to look up what thatโ€™s called, strange name). I havenโ€™t been hairless on my face like this for years, itโ€™s an adjustment. Feeling wind on my cheeks this morning was weird and kinda nice. Maybe this was divine intervention to change it up.

My husbandโ€™s been growing beards lately and he canโ€™t get the trimming right near the top lip. Doesnโ€™t matter how many you tube videos heโ€™s watched he somehow makes it look weird so he shaves it all off and the growing process starts again.

I donโ€™t care if he has a beard or not. I just donโ€™t want to see food dangling off the mo.

I used to trim my own and it looked pretty bad each time. Started going to the local barbers, and theyโ€™re fantastic. I go every 6-8 weeks, and in between trim it myself a bit.

Theyโ€™re worth it.

Good idea. Maybe I should give it a go first though.

When he goes in for a hair cut he gets his eyebrows trimmed. Surely thatโ€™s a sign youโ€™re getting old when the hairdresser asks โ€œSir would you like your eyebrows trimmed tooโ€?

As a bearded man, this happening to me would break my heart. Iโ€™m so sorry.

All hands meeting. Executive verbally wanks himself about the company.

None of this matters to my job.

I have work to do. Kindly fuck off.

Potentially I de-americanised something incorrectly. Or it just sucks?

Oven temp conversion would be my guess here. Also translating cup measures but Iโ€™m sure youโ€™re up to speed with those.

I de-americanise bread recipes. Always they put way too much sugar ffs. Never tried a biscuit recipe tho!

Must have required the souls of the departed or something
