So here is the issue.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5g running OneUI: 5.1 and Android 13.

I have to keep secure files on my phone for work. So naturally I used the “Secure Folder” ap that comes with the phone. Problem is that while the folder is locked it constantly notifies me to unlock the folder for notifications from aps inside. I figured out how to disable those notifications but there is still this persistent notification every time I restart the phone.

Secure Folder Locked: Unlock your secure folder to get notifications from apps in secure folder.

This normally wouldnt be an issue. Every time I restart the phone I just unlock the folder and then re-secure it. But I just dont think it’s very good to have the fact that I have a secure folder on my phone every time it is restarted.

So the question is… 1) Can this notification be turned off or removed? 2) Is there a different app that would work better for securing photos, pdf and text documents?

I contacted samsung support and they told me to deal with it or uninstall the secure folder app. Which isnt the best solution.

Could you long press on the notification and go too it’s settings page to turn it off?
