really really HATE you-know-what illegal material. but the frequency it gets brought up online really makes me wonder sometimes if there are really that many sick fucks out there or there are some sick fucks out there but governments like to also claim that it was you-know-what illegal material just so that people will tune it out and not look into things too closely…

To be honest, there seem to be many stories of such content, but not so many of such people. And I find that quite interesting. So either they hide themselves well, or there are less of them but they distribute the content widely, or as you said, the gov is simply using it as an excuse.
House Season 8 sucks anyway. character development is replaced by stereotypes. can’t believe they named her fucking " chi park " and make her repeat tired old republican clichés instead of having actual backstory

Update: I managed to get it. I still haven’t even gone through S5, I just had Seasons 5-7 downloaded so I wanted to make sure I have it all. I wasn’t the biggest fan of S4 either tbh. So we’ll see where things go from here.
Edit: Also, I really appreciate the lack of spoilers!
S4-5 were a weird situation. I forget which one, I think 4, but there was a writer’s strike when it was made so they had to scramble to wrap up the plotline. And didn’t do a great job. There’s also an explanation for the weird plot development point later in S5 if you look up what the actor was doing IRL. You’ll know what I’m talkin about when you see it.
As an American, I’m scared shitless of a “piracy shield” being implemented here next year like what Italy has now
