Great shot! I lived in Frisco for a short time and I’ll never forget this view.
Frisco is prime viewing spot to watch the tunnel traffic back up 10 miles. My record is almost 6 hours to go 115 miles to DIA.

A wreck further up the road caused traffic to come to a complete stop and the big rigs even with chains couldnt get started moving again on the incline. CDOT was pushing trucks with their bull bars to get ambulances through)

I haven’t lived there for years, but damn if I didn’t know instantly where(ish) that was taken, and felt super satisfied to see my memory wasn’t playing tricks on me, when I checked the comments. For me, coming over the crest of the hill heading west is always a great feeling. Means im headed home.
Leaving CO back to KS was pretty sad for me. I had never seen mountains before, so it sucked seeing them in the rear view mirror.
