Once again I messed the pill count and didn’t renew my prescription in time sol I’ll be riding this coming week dry… thanks stupid US medical system.

UPDATE: I had to pay out of pocket. $120 because my doc didn’t fill some random paper so I could get the meds, but insurance won’t cover it. It takes 6 months to get an appointment with my doc. I saw him last week and he said he would send a refill, he did t. My pharmacy the requested after I called to check. No go. I called the nurse and asked — automated voicemail. I’m done. I’m done I’m done.

I use the Medisafe app on Android to keep track of my prescriptions. It will remind you to take it on whatever schedule you set. You can also set it to remind you to refill when you have X amount of pills remaining, with X being whatever amount you choose. It’s free, and you don’t have to sign up for anything either.

Excellent tip! Why didn’t I think of that? The smartphone has been a game changer for me. I have meeting timers and alarms out the wazu.

Relatable content, sigh. I get good mileage out of a pill caddy for things I take the same time every day (I can see that I have pills for all the days until Thursday, or whenever, and plan accordingly) but that doesn’t work for everything.

The pharmacy that supplies my main med has failed to get things in on time so my brother and I have had to share meds (the medication is just different dosages, I take two 12.5 while he takes an 18.5) a few times. We cannot function without it, we just sleep and do nothing else.

I keep screwing up my repeat prescription and going dry. It’s annoying and I worry that it will effect my work but then most of my life has been unmedicated so what’s a few days here and there? One alternative is to use some dark web sourced amphetamine in the meantime. Most of what this condition revolves around is other people’s perceptions of my behaviour. If I’m mindful not to let that get to me, I feel okay about myself.

Wow dark web amphetamine sounds like a really bad live decision. Please don’t do it.

Eh. If you can take the appropriate opsec steps to keep yourself anonymous, using the darkweb can be surprisingly safe. You can find darkweb dealers with a full decade of reviews across numerous markets. People sometimes freak out when I say that’s where I used to get my weed, but I always had the best weed in town, and I never had to deal with a creep, and I never had my money stolen. I was using a site that was crazy strict on quality control.
