Very good race, sad the alpine didn’t make out of the 1st lap. Very happy to see Checo’s recovery. Awesome job from the McLaren boys. Let’s keep it up!

Ignoring Max, Laura’s the only one to make any accurate predictions after Checo’s improved performance. Ferrari being Ferrari is detrimental to Alex and Sam.

Laura increases her lead as we head to Belgium for the last race before summer break.
I keep wondering what channels these pundits are from. I have no idea who any of these people are.
F1TV. They are really quite a good team, I always enjoy putting the pre-weekend show on in the background.
Mercedes was slow car in the beginning but came into its own in the end. But a little too late in the race for anything.
At the start it looked like carrying too much weight, couldn’t accelerate, couldn’t turn.
That was an alright race. Terrible for the Alpines though, to both be out in the first lap.
And ofc Ferrari doing Ferrari things as usual.
Glad to see Norris P2, but I am curious about the undercut of Piastri he did. That seems unusual to undercut your own teammate like that.
But Max like 33+ secs ahead of Norris at the end is just insane.
I don’t think it was intentional to undercut Piastri. I think they boxed to cover off Hamilton and then Lando put up a ridiculous out lap.
