I’m starting to think 40 years of this mindset did some permanent damage to me and my future lol
I blame Yoda for their “do or do not; there is no try” maxim.
The same moment I stop being right I start to learn.
I don’t have a problem with perfectionism IRL.
But the minute it’s a video game? I must be perfect and I also dramatically shift to Machiavellian thinking. Everything in the game is specifically for my benefit. Every item belongs to me. And if killing an NPC will give me more power, that dude is dead.
