I’m surprised they’re going through all the rigamarole. I bet Trump would love to pardon this fella to stir up trouble he could then use force on. Maybe Chauvin doesn’t want to take the chance on a stroke before Trump’s small brain remembers this possibility.

As I understand he was convicted on both federal and state charges and Trump cannot pardon the state ones.
