canva fucking sucks.png < my literal screenshot filename. Anyway… Yeah, I wanted to make a circle with white fill. That’s it, I gotta PAY for that. wtf?
http://photopea.com has everything I need without any sign ups.
Why use Canva? What are you doing on this that can’t be done for free in other applications elsewhere?
Dunno about op, but at my work it’s used because of its ease to share and have several people work on the same file
It’s fine if your work pays for it. That’s why I have Spotify and Notion, for instance… Why would I pass on free stuff?
Not a helpful take TBH.
Canva is crazy easy and convenient. That’s what they built their business on being.
People can complain about the products they like getting worse, that’s how change happens, that’s how people get motivated to make alternatives…etc
This sounds like an AI generated response. How is this more easy or convenient than the hundreds of alternatives that already exist?
How is this more easy or convenient
It’s especially tailored for recreating common designs like leaflets, artsy resumes, quick video presentations, etc. It doesn’t require much technical knowledge and kind of walks you through it. It integrates everything well from easy templates, a vast library of shapes, a friendly/focused interface, and has many functions for common tasks. This is not an ad–it’s literally what they do. lol If you know of any OSS that does all this, I’d love to hear it.
Yes, you could do that all with the classic Photoshop/Photopea/Gimp but it won’t be fast, you’ll need to learn it first, it won’t be convenient, it might not be free (unless?.. 🏴☠️🦜) and you’re likely starting from scratch.
This sounds like an AI generated response.
Don’t be rude, please.
What is the point of saying that a response sounds like an AI generated response?
It’s just a generic insult.
Your mother smells funny, and you’re wrong.
Draw.io. Has its downsides but they are perfectly acceptable considering how bad everything else is.
It’s nit picking but compatibility is sometimes not guaranteed with certain asset packs/features that seem to be shipped by default across certain versions. It kind of comes with the whole “hey, when you view the thing please view it using this url” aspect which is fine generally but there are always those outlier situations. Like I said though. Total nit picking.
Inkscape.
“Yeah, makes sense. You know how hard it is to draw a perfect circle? How about you try it then, asshole? Didn’t think so. Now pay up!!”
