I remember it as something with the patient’s dad sleeping with her and then he freaks out when he finds out that she has XY chromosomes. But that doesn’t sound right?
Inspector Gadget flying down the street and crashes into you, sending you both tumbling into an open-air clothes market. You emerge in a gender-bent outfit and he says “That suits you! No need to thank me!” as he flies off. Penny and Brain look on in confusion, glance down at a computer, then give you a thumbs up.
…and then when you look confused [Holmes] is like “ah… had you not arrived at that conclusion yet?” and wafts away… leaving you in a gender crisis
Of course, Holmes knew perfectly well you hadn’t figured it out yet – that was the most obvious deduction of all. He deliberately broke the news to you for his own amusement.
Inspector Clueseau figures it out because after he sees your large train collection in your room, he decides you are 3 trains in disguise, but you misheard him.
Monk knew all along, just too anxious to tell you! He’s very relieved you finally figured it out.
