The events of the last few hours have clearly shown that not everyone has a good grasp on how federation works, which there is no shame in. I guess I missed the drama. But it is to be expected. Many people came from centralized social media, and simply signed up for something their friends told them about. For those people, they learned about federation after the fact. It is a new concept for a lot of people.

Mods tried to move 196 to .world, community got mad and made a new comm. The mods then unlocked the original and it’s kinda up in the air where 196 goes from here.
