My wife and I are moving from the Midwest to the Southwest in a couple of months and I wanted to get her a classy warm jacket as a Christmas present, must’ve visited 15 clothing stores in Perth and couldn’t find anything. I see why your silly fast fashion places don’t want to use the space but there is a market for winter clothes out of season.
Might have luck withbonline stores based in the Northern hemishpere and getting something shipped. Could be easier if you’ve family somewhere up there to send the items on to you.
Bonus is, no matter where you look, they probably have a better winter range than Australia does even when winters on the way.
Also ignore my advice, i know nothing about clothing, or its industry, and shouldn’t be trusted to know the difference between a Matrix Coats and a bin bag.
It took me a while to figure out why this was even posted. Aldi sells hot cross buns year round these days.
You’ve always been able to buy summer and winter clothes at all times of the year. People do travel after all. If you’re off to Europe tomorrow and only have Australian summer wear, you’re in for a bad time.
Yeah Aldi hasn’t won over yet. The jumpers are a new addition to kmart so if you had to travel to Europe a fortnight ago I guess you’d just have had to wear the jumpers in your closet.
Even 20 years ago the Easter eggs would arrive in stores before Christmas and be put on the shelves not soon after.
