I just started a co-op game with a friends who has never played before. I have … too many hours sunk into this game, but they’re all single player. I’m mostly letting them guide our progress, but I’m finding co-op has some differences I wasn’t expecting (time can’t pause, we don’t complete quests cooperatively, we don’t level up together). Any tips on keeping this a smooth experience as the experienced player in the team?
Focus on certain tasks. You can share items so it helps if you split off. In my game we both started by watering then my partner went to forage and gather while I went to the mines. They would make food so I could pick it up every morning.
Mine progress is shared so they just took the elevator to the right floor to complete the mine quests.
Finished my Community Center yesterday! The last thing I was waiting on was a large milk because I had decided I didn’t want to run a barn at all on this playthrough, until I realized that there’s only one way to get a large milk. I checked with the pig wagon a few times, but never offered it to me.
So, anyway, I have a barn with a cow now. 😂
I started a new playthrough for the first time in a while, took it pretty relaxed for most of the year then had to scramble to get the greenhouse before winter. Travelling merchant was kind and just got there.
I have also been super lucky and got 2 prismatic shards and an ancient seed already. Killing it in the mines with my galaxy sword.
I’ve started a new play through a couple weeks back after not playing for a very long time. It’s so much fun, to make my way through all the parts of the community centre and absolutely not pressure to get it all done in the first year. All the updates are fun to discover!
