I bought a Bambulab A1 but never connected it to the internet because I suspected that the would pull some crappy tricks at some point. And they did.

Can you elaborate? Is there any controversy on the Core One I’m not aware about, apart from it being less open source?

I’d guess worse performance with normal materials, but that will likely be changed by runnung the chassis fans faster

Doesn’t include the just released Elegoo Centauri Carbon. The reviews and the $299 price point make it one to seriously look at.
