As I’ve mentioned on here before, I’m a stroke and cancer patient going through a benefit appeal. My post history has more information. I have no way to keep myself fed other than your help. My posts on here often get ignored. I know there are war refugees and other people in more desperate situations so I understand. But I don’t have any other choice but to keep asking.
It’s dangerous for me to accept actual money, as it could get me in trouble with the DWP (British benefit nazis). So I tend to ask for supermarket vouchers. Maybe this is why I get so few responses. Maybe people think it’s difficult to do this? You don’t have to be in the UK. They email the food voucher straight to me. It will only take a minute.

When I speak about my difficulties in other threads, people keep advising me to keep posting for help here on mutual aid. But when I do, it’s so difficult to get responses.
I wonder if including an email folks can use in your posts would help with traction. I know I’ve personally only felt comfortable providing aid when an email/cashapp/paypal is in the post (I dont always get lenmy notifications in a timely fashion, so I tend to avoid starting a conversation if it needs to happen quickly).
Of course, feel free to use an alt or burner email for privacy.

When I click either link, it resets to a blank “fill in the details” sheet.
This is a problem because the details it requires are your name + email address.
I assume the link provided is supposed to have those saved, but that’s not appearing for me. It defaults to the normal page. This may be why you’re struggling with getting anything through this approach?

I would really love to use this but after a quick test it gives the entire name and address of the sender to the recipient. The biggest barrier to receiving here you’re going to get is maintaining the anonymity of the sender.
I’ve previously received a gift card from someone on https://www.sainsburysgiftcard.co.uk/ and prezzee, and neither gave me either the recipient’s name or address. You can put any name you want in. The person who previously sent me one just put “from a friend.” I have no idea who they are.
