I hope people boycott Google and Apple phones this year. Hail Korean Phones.

Even though sadly google still underneath it all like a stalker. :(

Still haven’t brought back the 3.5 mm headphone jack? And is that big battery replaceable (i.e. without anything stupid like ungluing it from the delicate touchscreen)?

Any coverage that omits these things is garbage IMO.

The black and white versions look OK, but the red and blue look really odd.

Should we call this trend the Iphonification?

I know all phones basically look the same nowadays, but those pics really did remind me of this classic

I see what you mean. I personally found the camera bump design they have on the Pixels pretty ugly tbh.

In general, whenever a phone has a huge camera bump, it seems to essentially require that you put a case on it. Otherwise it rocks all over the place when you try to lay it flat. Idk.

It’ll sport a flat camera bump

That’s a weird way of saying it won’t have a camera bump.

The pictures make it look like there’s a slight one.

However, instead of having a flat camera bar like the rest of the Pixel 9 lineup, it’s going to be flush with the back of the phone.

It might just be more poor wording, but flush means no bump of any kind.

Oh, I agree that it’s funny. Either it’s poor wording or… Maybe they don’t know what they’re talking about 🤷‍♂️

Agreed. I wouldn’t call it flush, but it is 99% of the way there. A little bezel around the lens is probably helpful to limit getting a scratch that being totally flush anyway.
