I’m in PEI Canada. I’m getting eggs from a small local farm for $5 a dozen. I could probably get them cheaper but I like supporting the farm and the eggs are probably fresh enough to hatch.

They won’t care that Trump hasn’t done anything to fix the price of eggs, because they’re too busy being reeled along by whatever the next thing is that right-wing media is telling them to be angry about.

It’s the Archer method of drinking, but for societal awareness - keep the people fighting over pointless stuff and they’ll never have time to reflect on the things they should be angry about.

I overheard some incel during a dinner recently who was bragging about all the waste Elon was cutting. That’s their narrative, I guess.

It made me think of an anorexic person bragging about how little food they need. Except this guy was enormously fat…
