And I got downvoted to oblivion for saying Germans know how to deal with Nazis, lol
There’s no way this is real
There’s some parade in Germany that uses these kinds of floats but I dunno what it’s called
In case you’d like to see more:
Tagesschau – Düsseldorfer Rosenmontag 2025: Jacques Tillys Mottowagen
thats a interesting twist on the Dolchstoßlegende - but this time it’s not a cowardly lie to kill jews, but a commentary on actually happening politics. And all that because the Ukraine didn’t want to fabricate dirt against Hunter Biden for Orange Mussolini
I’m honestly confused why this wouldn’t be real, this is just standard carnival stuff
I don’t understand the image. MAGA is cooking Trump? What?
The image is what it is: Trump being spitroasted like a fat greasy pig.
It could be a play on “eat the rich” or a form of tortuous death wished upon him or even an overtly offensive depiction of him. Or even something else.
It’s art, one way or another, and art is for the consumer to wonder about and, hopefully, at.
But the fire has “MAGA” written on it. That must be part of the message, does it not?
Funny how Isreal and Germany switched roles.
no
Israel didn’t exist yet during WW2, it was just a British colony. Now it’s an independent state, and still perpetuates colonialism against arabs. No role switched at any point.
Germany is the second biggest supporter of Israel right after the US. They didn’t switch with Israel, they are firmly on the same side.
I think the person you replied to meant in terms of persecution. Germany went after the Jews now they’re against that ideology. We see the current Jewish area that is Israel persecuting others. Role reversal, you would think they would treat others better after everything but that’s not the case!
The German government is one of the most suppressive in the western world in regards to protests against a literal genocide happening right now in Gaza. A genocide legally labeled as such by institutions erected as a result of Germany’s genocide. Branding wise, Germany is extremely progressive, but in principle and practice, it is extremely sad to see how little Germany has come along.
