It sounds like lead in water pipes isn’t directly lethal so that would explain why they don’t count it in the numbers from that site
The definition on that website sounds like they just count people dying as direct result of the water (Ex dysentery)
The link and title of the webpage talk about water quality, but further down they argue only about the safety of water: “According to the DALY scale, a score of 100 indicates countries with the purest and least-contaminated water”, but to be honest I rather drink slightly unsafe water that tastes natural over supersafe water that taste like thinned bleach lol
