Sorry to go Where No One Wants To Go Again, but have to disagree. Sisko stumbled and lost and had fuckups through a lot of situations while growing a lot as a character, as did pretty much everyone on DS9.
Sure a couple racist dumbfucks would whine about “wokeness” because he’s black, but he’s not written as a gary sue even when he’s a half-godlike being.
