CBS and Trump’s settlement discussions have taken place as Paramount Global seeks the president’s approval of its merger with Skydance, an American media production company.

Today was the first time that it ever occurred to me that the US propaganda of “Hitler was the worst person who ever lived” might have been in part to cover up the US’s own history of genocide.
My sister-in-law, the chillest and least likely person I know to ever say this, actually wished death on Trump the other day. He’s done so much global damage, and it hasn’t even been a year.

It also doesn’t make sense. To make Trump angry all you need to do is tell the truth. Just state facts and he’ll be tweeting up shitstorm at 3am.

nah, Trump is a rage-powered sack of IOUs badly arranged to resemble a real human being. If you want to get rid of Trump, you have to try to delight him and remove his power source. All of his cabinet and several world leaders are trying more an more openly to kill him this way. The true unsung heroes of our time!
We just need one staff member, possible a janitorial one, to come in and take all his special lift shoes and high heels.
The fact that even publications like this are saying things like “the president’s approval” now is part of the problem. The president is supposed to have no part in that decision making process. It’s the FCC and the FTC that have a say and they are supposed to be politically insulated.
I hope it literally gives him a stroke.
This entire story is another stupid distraction designed to hook the emotions of both sides of the political spectrum for views. Anyone who gets engaged with these kinds of stories, no matter what side you’re on, are being victimized by manipulative media trying to drive up views for advertiser revenue.
We need to burn our entire capitalistic, profit-driven media hellscape to the ground and make something new that has actual oversight and regulation.
