Headline was inaccurate - they didn’t bomb a place for a gender reveal. Instead they bombed a place that produced blue smoke for some other reason and joked about how it resembling a gender reveal. That’s…not better but it’s an important distinction - one is blowing shit up to announce it’s a boy and the other is blowing shit up to blow shit up and then joking about the color of the smoke.
Ok, so that was horrifying that they treated it so lightly, but this headline seems slightly inaccurate.
It seems they were not blowing it up for a ‘gender reveal’, but instead were blowing it up otherwise and something in the building produced blue smoke, and they found the resemblence hilarious.

Al Jazeera is always extremely anti Israel. The Arabic version even more so than the English one.
Ethnic Genocide is now fully Normalized in Israel.
In some ways this is actually beyond Nazi Germany, were the actual perpetrators of the genocide did not make a public show of their murdering of the people they saw as untermenschen.
This kind of thing is a pretty good indication that there is far broader acceptance (glee, even) amongst the Israeli population for Genocide than there was amongst the German population in Nazi Germany.

From what I’ve heard the extreme racism is generalized in the Mainstream Press in Israel, so I’m not sure that it’s the Social Media that’s making Genocide along ethnic lines be more broadly accepted there than it was in Nazi Germany.
That said, the fables in Israel around “The Jewish People” and its identity with the Palestinians as “antagonists”, have been spun for far longer and the antagonism has been going on for far longer (since the creation of the state of Israel) than the ones in Nazi Germany with Jews as “antagonist”, so maybe the much longer time (about 70 years) during which Israelis have been indoctrinated about their own ethnic superiority and the “antagonism” of Palestinians in Israel compared to the length of the similar indoctrination of the population in Nazi Germany, is the main cause for the more broad acceptance of Genocide amongst the populus in Israel than in Nazi Germany.
If you’ve grown up hearing about how you’re part of a superior people (“God’s chosen people”) and Palestinians are The Enemy who hate you and want you dead, and your parents too grew up like that, you’re probably far, far, more likely to be an extreme racist that trully believes themselves to be inherently superior and that Palestinians as not really human like themselves - hence having zero empathy for the suffering of Palestinians and maybe even relishing in it - than somebody who has only been exposed to similar shit for a decade or two.

A lot of times soldiers when they come back from war have a lot of post-traumatic stress and they end up drinking a lot and they have a high suicide rate. So when the war ends it really doesn’t. They just bring it back home. And Israel is on the verge of a civil war. So all the mistakes of that society will come back and blow up in their face. We just have to be patient. I really question if the state of Israel is going to last. I mean, a lot of people in the United States despise Israel, and they will isolate themselves from the rest of the world and be notoriously known as terrible tourist. So they’ll be discriminated against and shunned. Justice will be served eventually. The United States really at the end of the day is just using them as a proxy. They think they’re controlling us, but we are using them to control our population for our imperialist endeavors. And just like Ukraine, we’ll throw them in the gutter, because these are all just dildos of empire. What you do overseas will come back to you and me. The imperialist boomerang effect. We just live in dystopic times and we just have to realize that the world we live in is not the same and so our likes and dislikes need to change. Our habits, our patterns, our hobbies. You name it. We’ve got to start thinking locally. Stop giving corporations money, get a hobby, be productive, stuff like that.
I mean all that PTSD is why America had the prohibition in the first place.
Wives were getting abused by their husbands back from the war and said they seemed on edge and worse than before… So, “it must be the booze and not shellshock cause they are tougher than that”.
