Americans also don’t have any military victories to celebrate. Both in the sense that the keep loosing wars, and in the sense that even when they win wars, they end up creating such hellish outcomes that the ruling class prefers to bury the shit under the sand.
Fair enough. That is a victory worth celebrating because the 9/11 planner (aka comrade George “Dubya” Bush) was successful in accelerating American decline by 20 years.
I can’t believe how bloodthirsty they are to attack the parade aspect instead of the utterly outrageous numerical aspect.
It’s because they love wars and the military. The only difference between them and chuds is that they act embarrassed about it. The reason they absolutely despise the parade is because acting bashful while committing mass murder is the thing that justifies it and makes it ok, in their eyes.
It’s just lib shit. Small towns near military bases have always had marching bands and/or color guards coming off base to perform on the typical nationalist holidays. Trump said he wanted a military parade back in 2016 and in typical , performative virtue signaling they went contrarian and made a whole hullabaloo as if they’re not getting all weapy eyed every time “proud to be an American” starts playing during their July 4th firework celebrations.
Trump’s planned birthday military parade better get stuck after tearing up the stroads now. Funniest outcome.
It’s just because of media propaganda of lines of tanks and soldiers marching in red square or in the DPRK or China which are vilified as bad and oppressive and the thinking goes look how they’re marching evilly through the streets for the benefit of their leadership who live like gods while the rest exist in slavery under the boot of their aggressive military machine which they are saber-rattling at the world through their parades contained entirely within their capital city unlike us with all our peaceful wholesome bases all over the place and our “freedom of navigation” infringements on air and sea-space borders and our “deterrence” war games that occur right on their borders and cannot be told apart from an actual attack.
So they spun up this idea that military parades = evil commie oppression and that’s a sign of bad things and they beat that home until people see only things like that, signifiers as a sign of goodness or badness and ignore the sprawling naked empire with all its bases, wars, aggressive creeping up to the borders of rival states, war games near their borders, etc because it doesn’t have the right signifiers.
