I think American stalls are designed that way specifically to make them less private in the hopes it will keep people from boning or doing drugs in them. Just another facet of American life made worse with puritanical/punitive culture.
You’d think after a lifetime of not actually working in that regard we’d just use a normal fucking door. 🤷🏻♂️
Also, FunFact: if you enter a bathroom in the US and the lighting is really blue: that literally is to stop drug use. Veins are blue, and if the lighting is blue you can’t see them well enough to shoot up.

That’s not the point. If someone is gonna fuck or shoot up in the bathroom they’re going to. The little perv gap we have isn’t gonna change that.
Puritan ideas themselves aren’t really about helping people to be more “pure”. They’re about subjugation, control, and maintaining a patriarchal structure.
We’re lucky they even have doors, half the schools I went to in conservative towns ripped them off to ‘keep kids from smoking’ in the bathrooms.

I’ve been formulating an essay for a long time now about how American bathroom design - At least men’s rooms, as I’m a man - Is proto-fascist homoerotic cultural enforcement, how it relates to the butt-slapping genital pranks of cis sports locker rooms or the blackmail-generating hazing of fraternal societies, and the extremely suspect fact that in our individualized and privatized society stripped bare of spaces for intimate social interaction, the one place that we are in fact forced to interact on an intimate and revealing level is also the one spot that is supposed to be the most private and individual. I also want to explore how it possibly relates to circumcision, in that both things seem to be the society asserting the ownership of one’s gender in a coercive fashion, as if to lock the individual into their role in the society and remind them of that fact every time they’d seek to be alone with themselves.

Sexual predators are going to be predators. They don’t care about the rules.
For the sake of argument, let’s say there is a hypothetical trans person who wants to assault someone in a bathroom. The whole argument assumes that people who don’t respect “you can’t assault people” laws will respect “you can’t enter that room” laws. They’re already planning a much more serious crime! They’ll just ignore both laws! So dumb.
I still use the men’s room because I am early in transition and my tits aren’t big enough yet. I’m basically waiting for the first man to see me and tell me I’m in the wrong place, then I will know I can probably use the ladies’

Capitalism isnt failing because of some moral failure of the wealthy. It’s failing because of its contradictions.
The guillotine is simply a symbol of revolution. Revolution does not require violence if the ruling class gives up it’s power. But, historically, they never have. And the Capitalist class will not either. So violence is necessary in response to the state structures of violence.
So, I guess my point is that I’m not saying I want to kill capitalist. But, historically, the ruling class does not want to give up their class position and so violence is required to destroy the structures that uphold their class position.
