The worst part about discussing this subject is the subtlety. So many people what to remove all the nuance from the conversation so they can justify violence and erasure of innocent people. All they have to do is ignore nuanced critique and shout louder, and the zone is flooded with shit.
Anti-Zionism
I don’t have a problem with Jewish people, nor the Jewish nation, nor Judaism, nor the Jewish government (some of them anyway) …
… but I have a problem with racist, bigoted, extremist Zionists … they’ve become more like the Jewish Taliban but with nuclear weapons.
Don’t forget Germany. Seems like the only lesson their politicians learnt from WW2 was “don’t ever criticise Israel.”

Not necessarily, the UK govt generally has to tread more lightly than the govt’s of the US & Germany, since like Canada, they have a far proportionally larger muslim population than those the states and Germany, certainly larger than their Jewish population with a far smaller Israeli influence within their general population, not that being Jewish makes you Zionist in any way, however Israeli lobbyists do help with making sure to provide areas with Jewish majorities with private security in an effort to encourage a culture of fear towards Muslims within Jewish communities.
